EF Language and Culture Camp in France
Prepare for your high school exchange by meeting other exchange students, learning about the culture and practicing French. The Language and Culture Camp is designed to help you get ready for your exchange year.
What you will learn
Become more comfortable speaking French before meeting your host family and starting school. You will:
- Meet “professionals” – former exchange students – to hear about their experiences and ask their advice.
- Take classes from native-speaking teachers who offer advice about French life, culture and current events.
- Learn the basics of and practice the French language
Are you up for the challenge?
Attending a different high school and taking classes in a foreign language is a challenge, but also rewarding. It will broaden your horizons, expose you to new things and lead to personal growth. In addition, the experience will provide you with skills that will contribute to your future academic studies and career.

Things you will do
Besides meeting new friends and learning about your host country, you will take part in many fun activities that might include:
- Shopping at some of France’s hip boutiques
- Viewing some of Frances famous art and architecture
- Playing sports
- Have lots of fun with the other exchange students
