What do I need to do?
- Fill out the pre-application form (in our brochure or on the website) - click here - and send it together with a copy of your latest school report to our office in Auckland. Please indicate on the application form that you wish to apply for a scholarship.
- EF will send you an application form in the mail and invite you to an interview.
- You will need to bring the application forms to the interview or send them to our office within 1 week of the interview.
Requirements/Deadlines
The minimum requirements for applying for a scholarship are: excellent grades (Merit or Excellence only), financial needs (has to be stated on the scholarship application form provided by EF), outstanding motivation plus an excellent performance at the EF interview. All students need to fulfill the basic acceptance criteria as defined in our brochure for 2010/11 and booking conditions.
Only students with complete application forms submitted within the deadlines will be considered.
Scholarships are awarded 4 months prior to departure.
Fundraising
It is becoming increasingly popular for students to help fundraise some of the program fee themselves. There are plenty of organisations and community services which will be more than happy to help you.
