English Courses in Chicago

EF’s English courses in Chicago are located on Michigan Avenue, in the heart of downtown Chicago. Our language school is literally steps from the shores of Lake Michigan, the Chicago River and countless boutiques and restaurants. Our students study English a few blocks from massive Grant Park, the site of President Barack Obama’s famous election night acceptance speech.

Our English courses place students along the Magnificent Mile, a stretch of the downtown corridor full of boutique shopping, a vibrant nightlife and cultural venues. The world-class Art Institute of Chicago is only a few blocks from our English language school. Chicago is a hub for business and higher education and EF’s Volunteer Experience Program provides our students with the opportunity to supplement their English courses with professional experience.

Once classes end for the day, students in our English courses in Chicago fan out across the city to take in the view from atop the Sears Tower, catch their reflection in the famous Cloud Gate sculpture in Millennium Park, or play beach volleyball at the Montrose Avenue beach. Locals take their professional sports teams seriously and taking in a Cubs baseball game in Wrigley field is a classic American experience.
